Who we are

What we collect

• When you book: your name, email, phone number and hotel address (if you give them), your notes, the bike, dates and times.
• At pick-up: photos of your passport (photo page) and driving licence (and International Driving Permit, if you have one), a photo of you with the bike, photos of the bike's condition, your passport number, hotel address and signature.
• Payments: amounts, dates and how you paid. Online card payments are handled by our payment provider, Beam. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, LINE or email.

On this website

• We count visits ourselves: the page, the website you came from, your country and a coded visitor reference. We never store your IP address.
• A "how you found us" cookie remembers, for 90 days, how you first reached us: a search engine, another website or one of our ads (with the ad's click reference), the page you landed on and the date. It holds nothing about you personally. Only our server can read it. If you book, it is added to your booking.
• We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site. Google sets its own cookies for this.
• When you type a hotel address in the booking form, what you type is sent to Google to suggest addresses.
• Our pages use fonts from Google, and our home page shows a Google map. Your browser fetches them from Google, which receives your IP address.
• You can block cookies in your browser. Booking still works.

Why we use it

• To take your booking and rent you the bike (our contract with you).
• To check who you are and that you may ride, and to protect our bikes against theft and fraud (our legitimate interest).
• To keep accounts and tax records (our legal duty).
• To contact you about your booking, including by email.
• To see which advertising works and to keep the site running safely (our legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

• MotoCounter, which provides and hosts our booking system.
• Cloudflare, which delivers our website securely.
• Beam, our payment provider, for online payments.
• Resend, which sends our emails.
• Google, as described above.
• Police, courts or other authorities, when the law requires it. For example after an accident, a traffic offence or a theft.
• Insurers, when a claim needs it.

Some of these services store data outside Thailand.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Passport and licence photos: 30 days after the bike is back.
• Signed rental agreements: 1 year.
• Booking and payment records: 5 years, for tax.
• The "how you found us" cookie: 90 days.
• Visit counts contain nothing that names you.

Keeping it safe

Only our staff, signed in with their own accounts, can see your booking and documents. Your ID photos are never on the public website. The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask to see your data, get a copy, correct it or delete it. You can ask us to limit or stop using it, to send it to another company, and withdraw any consent you gave.

Ask by email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp. We answer within 30 days.

Some data we must keep by law, such as tax records, even if you ask us to delete it.

You can also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

Changes

We update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
